  • JOYO JTA-05 Sweet Baby - All Tube Compact Guitar Amplifier - 5 Watts

    Simple Bedroom Blaster
Without doubt the best value 'all tube' amplifier on the market, the JOYO JTA- 05A is a perfect for the tube amp enthusiast that doest have the space, the money, or the tolerant neighbours to own the larger old tube amps. NO EQ, no gain, just an on/off switch and a volume knob means the "Sweet Baby" is so simple to set up, that all you have to do is plug in, turn it on and play! Three Tube Stage Design
Remarkably, this little 5W Class A has three a three tube stage design, that takes the place of all the EQ and other dials and complex circuitry usually found on guitar amps. Instead, this amp, loaded with a single 8" Celestion Eight 15 G8C-15 speaker, relies on the 12AX7 at the pre-amp stage, a 6V6GT tube in the power section and a 5AR4 in the power supply to produce the old school amp tones. The Volume Knob
Just like the old amplifiers of the 50's and 60's, the JOYO Sweet Baby simply has one Volume Knob as its only source of control. Keeping the volume low will produce nice, smooth clean tones, whilst turning the volume knob up, will increase the "dirtiness", by overdriving the tubes in the amp, producing that wonderful old amp distortion similar to those you would hear in the 60's.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The main difference between cutaway and non-cutaway guitars is in their body shape. Cutaway guitars have a section removed from the body, making it easier to access higher frets, which is great for lead playing. However, this design can slightly reduce resonance and volume. Non-cutaway guitars retain a full body shape, which often produces a fuller, richer sound due to the increased wood mass. While they may be harder to play in the higher fret range, they offer better tonal quality. Choosing between the two depends on your playing style and whether you prioritize accessibility or sound quality.

GENERAL FAQs

Yes, transacoustic guitars tend to be more expensive than regular acoustic guitars. The additional technology that allows them to produce effects without external equipment increases the cost. However, prices vary depending on the brand, model, and features offered.
